Structures for the telecommunications sector

1

The telecommunications industry is one of the fastest growing branches of the world economy. Continuous development and innovations increase the demand for all types of constructions. Operators place great emphasis on the proper functioning and improvement of connection networks and the 5th generation network (5G) is a notable example of these processes. The network is supposed to work much faster and allow a huge number of additional devices to be connected to the Internet.
The launch of 5G will require more tower structures and telecommunications masts.

What are the main features required for telecommunications structures?

Telecommunication structures perform very important functions. They ensure smooth use of the network and thus require fault-free operation. In addition, properly located telecommunications structures ensure high quality of connections.

Telecommunications towers

For 30 years of existence on the market of telecommunication structures, “STP ELBUD” sp. z o.o. has made about 2,500 towers and masts for the largest mobile phone operators. Our offer includes:

– telecommunications towers and masts up to 250 m high,

– radar towers and masts,

– observation towers and masts,

– roof masts,

– tower and mast reinforcement structures,

– support structures for aerials and cables.

The structures are made of certified steel materials according to documentation prepared by specialist design offices and meet the requirements of EN-1090-2, class EXC3.

We specialise in the production of towers and lattice masts made of angle bars and round bars. Thanks to 2019 investment for the purchase of a machine for cutting and processing steel profiles, we have expanded our product range to include thin-walled tubular structures. The machine allows for laser beam thermal treatment of round pipes and sections (closed profiles) with a maximum length of 6,250 mm and a thickness range of 1.5 mm to 10 mm.

Our current production capacity for tower construction is approx. 250–300 tonnes per month.

Our success in the telecommunications tower and mast market was possible thanks to many years of experience and the effective use of contacts with investors and installation companies.

Our other strengths:

– high quality of structures confirmed by a number of certificates and customer opinions;

– individual approach to the customers and their needs (the support of the client at every stage of project implementation and construction, including post-construction service),

– own technological production preparation office;

– a wide range of machines;

– strong technical expertise and qualified staff;

– large storage yards to store the completed structures;

– the structures can use the duplex system (hot-dip galvanising and painting in our own galvanising plant and painting room);

– workshop trial fit if needed, which is particularly important in prototype structures;

– delivery to a specified location.

Our structures are highly valued by foreign customers, mainly from Germany and the Scandinavian countries.
